Knee Replacement and Injury Recovery

Hello,  My name is Richard Haynes. Welcome to my blog Knee Replacement and Injury Recovery.

Having worked in the field of physical rehabilitation since 1995 and having a knee replacement myself in 1999 at 43 years of age, I have learned not only extensive therapy techniques to help you recover from a knee replacement but, how to strengthen it as well after surgery.

Your knee being one of the  most vulnerable joints you have, gets exposed to all types of stress and rotational forces that will cause injury if the muscles surrounding your knees are not strong and flexible.

Also osteoarthritis as we age is the number one medical problem we have to address and your overall level of health, general fitness, and bodyweight will dictate how progressive it becomes.

Caring for your knees either after an injury or surgery and how well you are prepared to handle the rehabilitation will determine your overall success during recovery.

If I can be of any assistance or if you have a question or comment please feel free to drop me a line and I will respond as soon as possible.
